ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re looking for an experienced Manager Production & Quality Control to lead rice processing operations, ensure consistent product quality, optimize production efficiency, and maintain compliance with safety and export standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Production Planning: Prepare daily and weekly processing schedules based on raw material availability, machine capacity, and market demand.

Milling & Parboiling Operations: Supervise cleaning, milling, grading, color sorting, parboiling, and packing operations.

Quality Control: Monitor head-rice yield, broken percentage, moisture levels, and overall product quality to meet buyer and export specifications.

Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate routine machinery inspections and timely repairs to minimize downtime of heavy sortex and milling equipment.

Safety & Compliance: Ensure hygiene, workplace safety, and compliance with applicable labor and safety regulations. Maintain plant readiness for ISO/HACCP audits.

Team Leadership: Lead and train production teams, assign daily shift responsibilities, monitor performance, and achieve production targets.

Performance Monitoring: Track key production and quality KPIs and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and reduce wastage.
REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Food Technology, Agriculture, or a relevant field.

5+ years of experience in rice processing, milling, parboiling, or a similar food-processing environment.

Strong knowledge of rice milling machinery, sortex operations, grading, and quality parameters.

Good understanding of production planning, quality control, maintenance, and workplace safety.

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills.
-
Experience with ISO/HACCP standards will be an advantage.
