Job Title: Community-Based Disaster Risk Management Consultant

Required Education
- Masters in Public Health, Disaster Management, Medical Sciences, or Environmental Studies with 10+ years of experience in DRR, CBDRM OR Climate Resilience.
- Must have a proven track record developing training materials and facilitating consultations in rural Sindh across local government and community levels. Strong MS Office, data analysis, reporting, and graph/chart generation skills are essential, alongside fluent English/Urdu communication.
Required Experience
- Review the existing Community-Based Disaster Risk Management (CBDRM) package and identify gaps, ensuring alignment with national frameworks and strategies.
- Finalize English and Urdu materials, including guidebooks, workbooks and counselling cards.
- Develop monitoring and supervision tools, and prepare an end-line report with lessons learned and recommendations for scale-up.
- Plan and conduct a provincial Training of Trainers (4-5 days) and five district-level trainings (2 days each), including agendas, invitations, participant lists and facilitator coordination.
- Present the revised package to technical working groups and experts to obtain government approval.
- Consult key stakeholders through interviews and online national and provincial consultations, and incorporate their feedback.
- Update the package with current content, climate resilience concepts and case studies, and develop the trainer’s guidebook, participant’s workbook and concise job aids for community-level use.
Technical Expertise
- Expertise in Microsoft office especially Word, Excel & Power point with experience of data collection, analysis and report writing is required.
- Excellent analytical/IT skills to generate graphs and charts based on data analysis is required.
- Experience using DHIS-2, online reporting platforms, dashboards or other health information systems is desirable.
