ASK Development is urgently looking for a “Communications Officer”

- Education:
- At least a master’s in social sciences, in related field of Development Studies, Economics, Journalism, or Communications
- Experience
- At least two years of relevant experience along with bachelor’s degree. No experience is required with master’s degree
- Understands innovation for development and has knowledge of applying innovation approaches in doing development differently, especially in communications.
- Experience in developing communication strategy and managing social media campaigns.
- Experience of working in crisis communication with the UN in close coordination with HQ & Regional offices.
- Experience of coordinating, knowledge management, and working closely with communication focal persons across regions.
- Experience of working with tools such as Adobe, Canva, Piktochart, Mailchimp, etc.
- Having Graphic design/Photoshop and audio/video editing is an advantage.
- Experience in managing organizations’ official social media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram), Microsoft Office, Google software, etc.
- Experience of working with a UN organization is an advantage.
- Experience of working with an international organization is an advantage

- Fluency in English and national language of the duty station. Other official language of the UN will be desirable.
