- Education: Advanced university degree (master’s degree or equivalent) in Public Administration, Public Policy, International Development, Development Studies, M&E Quantitative Analysis/Data Analytics/Policy Research. A first-level university degree (bachelor’s degree) in combination with an additional two years of qualifying experience will be given due consideration in lieu of the advanced university degree.

- Minimum 5 years of proven work experience in monitoring and evaluation, data analytics/policy research (7 years with Bachelor’s degree).
- Prior experience with donor management, reporting, research analysis, and statistical methods.
- Comfortable with technology; prior experience with the use of ICT tools to improve data systems.
- Work experience with international organizations and/or the United Nations.
- Experience of managing large datasets and condense complex information to communicate with diverse range of stakeholders.
- Excellent inter-personal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under stress and to multi-task.
- Ability to work with diverse range of stakeholders and team members to achieve collective goals.
- Strong analytical and quantitative analysis skills.
- A high level of attention to detail.
- Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and a desire for continuous improvement.
- Strong writing, research and analytical skills.
- Comfortable with technology; prior experience with the use of ICT tools to improve data systems.
- Takes initiative, proposes new ideas and approaches.
- Demonstrable experience working in complex environments with a diverse range of stakeholders, including the government.
- Experience and knowledge of design of Monitoring and Evaluation plans. Prior experience with conflict-affected/post-conflict contexts.
- Language Requirement:
- Fluency in the English and Urdu is required, knowledge of Pashto is desirable
