Job Summary:
We are looking for a detailed-oriented and proactive Manager Accounts to oversee daily financial operations, manage bookkeeping, prepare periodic financial statements, and ensure tax and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, expertise in accounting software, and a proven track record in financial management.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the end-to-end accounting and bookkeeping operations for a portfolio of multiple client accounts.
- Perform month-end and year-end financial closing processes in a timely and accurate manner.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes for assigned clients to ensure strict adherence to agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Ensure client compliance with local statutory contributions, such as EOBI and provincial Social Security requirements.
- Conduct general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and company account reconciliations.
- Assist senior management in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Prepare and ensure timely filing of withholding tax (WHT), Income Tax, and Sales Tax returns in compliance with relevant tax authorities.
- Review and process monthly payroll, tax deductions, and disbursements of multiple clients.
Qualification:
- M.Com, MBA (Finance) or an equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Additional professional certification (ACCA, CA Inter, CMA or CPA) is a plus.
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in a managerial role.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and Pakistan tax laws.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or ERP systems.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong leadership, team management and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and reporting deadlines.
Salary Package: PKR 90,000 – 110,000 per month
