 Data Entry Operator The data entry operators are based in 3 districts of Sindh and report to the District Manager. They will be working very closely and support the Union Council Secretaries for the data entry

The  Data entry operator is appointed with the following terms of references (ToRs):

  1. To enter data from manual forms to online system at district/ Union Council level, verified by the UC Secretary.
  2. Reviewing birth registration applications data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities and checking output before inserting data
  3. Support district coordinators in implementing union council level field plans to achieve daily and weekly targets of birth registration.
  4. Ensure daily entry of manual birth registration forms data in the digital system.
  5. Support Union Council secretaries in entering and recording data, as and when assigned.
  6. Maintain record of birth registration forms in hard copies.
  7. Report performance on daily basis.
  8. To maintain documentation files/ soft and hard with proper tags.
  9. Together with the DBR team and District Coordinator ensure that the targets of birth registration are achieved.
  10. Attend meetings/ orientation sessions at district level for smooth function of the project.
  11. Comply with data integrity and security policies.
  12. Any other task assigned by the supervisor.
  • Minimum Intermediate preferably with a computer diploma
  • Able to use computer MS. Office, internet
  • Willing to travel to different UCs as and when required.
  • Able to work under pressure with accuracy
  • Experience of surveys and data entries/filling forms
  • Ability to use smart phone
  • Effective communication and reporting skills are required
  • Ability to type in English and Urdu with good speed.
  • Able to plan own work over short timescales for routine or familiar tasks and processes.
  • Flexibility and ability to operate in diverse cultural settings and with a variety of stakeholders; culturally and gender sensitive;
  • Good team player who has ability to maintain good relationships.
