The Session will introduce concepts of development and
development processes that shape the formulation of projects
world wide and influence their outcomes. We will first
address the problem of development theory and introduce
major organizations which responsible for the development of
projects and programs. Drawing Pakistan’s experience with
development planning, we will view development with in the
social and economic change with in the country and its
global commitment with the Millennium Development Goals. We
will then go through the whole course contents and discuss
the possibilities of using various analytical tools used in
project analysis.
