Strategic Human Resource Management for NGO Managers (Three days)

 

NGO sector is passing through transitional period in Pakistan and it is also fact that NGOs need to develop their robust systems including Human Resource Management (HRM). Further importance of human factor can not be denied in achieving vision of the NGOs. NGO managers need to know strategies to increase employee commitment, retention and work-life balance in NGOs so that turn over of employees addressed properly. This course is specifically developed for NGO managers to build their understanding on HR issues and solutions for optimum utilization of human resources within organization.

Objective
The participants will be able to achieve following objectives from this three-days training

  • To develop conceptual understanding about evolution of strategic HRM, models and framework with reference to organizational effectiveness

  • To establish alignment of HRM mission with organizational mission and to understand vertical and horizontal integration of HRM

  • HRM functions for NGOs– Recruitment and selection, training and development, compensation and performance management

  • Vertical and Horizontal alignment of HRM functions

  • Employee commitment paradigms and retention approaches

  • Role of strategic HRM in organizational success

  • Practical guidelines for NGOs managers for successful implementation of strategic HRM function
